Are you a desk jobholder? If you are working on chair in front of computer eight hours in a day, 5 days in a week , now it's time to look at yourself as well as your health also. I've got some easy tips to maintain a good health for you.
More or less we all know about the bad effects of prolonged sitting, then again I'm showing you :-
- The persons used to prolong sitting have increased risk of cardiovascular diseases same as a smoker.
- Prolonged sitting causes obesity due to lower metabolism and less calorie burn because of not using muscles.
- Too much sitting and lying down hampers metabolic functions and cause some cancers also, such as breast cancer, colon cancer.
- Sitting for a long time can cause fatty liver disease and diabetics also.
Now what to do? Relax and follow the following tips I'm giving...
1. Start your day with a cup of warm cool water, honey and lemon juice. Drinking it everyday helps you to flush out body toxin and extra fat also.
2. You have 24 hours in a day, right? Please, don't say the bullshits like "I'm busy all day long that's why can't manage time for exercise". Try to manage 1 hour for morning walk, jogging or any kind of free hand exercise, if you have shortage of time then manage at least 45 minutes everyday for physical exercise. That will help you a lot, no doubt. Especially I'm talking about the women who stays at home all day long, please manage time for exercise in morning or evening whenever you want. I understand, you have many things to manage in home, it's too tough to manage, but you have to do that if you want a good health.
3. Take some fruits in your bag. In office your co-workers will offer you many kinds of tasty snacks, please, politely say them "NO". Replace your snacks with fresh fruit. Whenever you are hungry, take fruits.
4. Cut off soda and beverages from your daily food menu. Replace that with plain water or coconut water. Coconut water is full of naturally occurring 19 minerals. If it's not available then take plenty of water. It will help you to flush out body toxin and fight to prevent obesity caused by prolonged sitting.
5. If you have 30 minutes in lunch break, divide your time for lunch and after lunch move around also. Take 10 minutes for lunch, then move around for 10-15 minutes. Try to do some light exercises for 5 minutes in every one or two hours interval.
That's all. Enjoy your every moment, stay healthy and happy.

Sun burn? Please, don't become angry with sun. I've some tips for you to recover your skin. Let's see some easy recovery tips.
- Take a tablespoon of baking soda and mix up with water. Apply it on sunburned skin. It will relief you from irritation and skin pigmentation caused by sun. Baking soda is a great neutralizer, it helps to make skin pH normal. You can use it with your bathe water. Baking soda bath helps in lowering temperature naturally.
- Aloe Vera is the great healer. Cut it and apply aloe vera gel on your sunburned skin 3/4 times a day for one week. It penetrates deeper layer of skin and rejuvenate. You can use gel mixture prepared with aloe vera gel, vitamin E oil and peppermint oil for better result. For extra cooling effect preserve it in fridge.
- Potato juice is another great remedy with a lot of potassium. Regular use of potato juice on your skin gives a healthy glow and remove blemishes caused by sunburn. Without peeling potato try to grate it and put it into blender, then collect the juice. Take a cotton ball and apply the juice gently over the sunburn area, repeat everyday for 7-10 days or anytime when you need.
- You can try some apple cider vinegar also. It helps to heal sunburn very quickly. Apply with cotton ball over the affected area of skin once or twice a day whenever you need.
- Have you ever tried cold milk? Chilled milk has lactic acid which works as miracle to treat sunburn skin. Instead of milk you can try yogurt also. Milk and yogurt has not only power to treat sunburn, it is known as natural cleanser. If you apply milk or yogurt on skin everyday, no doubt you will get a smooth and perfect skin.
- Tomato juice and lemon juice, you can use one or both together. Both contain natural bleaching agent which cures sunburn skin and remove blemishes. If you apply only lemon juice on skin, mix something other with the juice like honey, flour or water. Because using only lemon juice can harm to your skin, it's citric acid derivative. Try tomato and lemon pack on skin at night, because if you apply it in daytime, some reactions may happen because of sunlight which can turn your skin blackish.

Surprised to see the post title? Did you think that beauty is only important factor for women? Nope, it's not in now a days. Beauty becomes important fact for both men and women. In corporate world people generally focus on your personality rather than other things, isn't it? It's not so hard to have good looking appearance, just you have to include some habits in your daily routine. So, start from now.
- You should apply moisturizer before using shaving cream. Moisturizer absorbs onto skin while shaving foams usually sit on top. Using dull blade or shaving with little cream can irritate, scrape and burn your skin. After shaving rinse with lukewarm water and then cold water to tighten pores of skin. Then apply after shave lotion. You can use aloe-vera gel as after shave gel. Aloe-vera gel is most effective skin tonic and conditioner also.
- Avoid using all purpose soap. Use lukewarm water and mild soap or cleanser to clean your skin. You should repeat cleansing process twice or thrice in a day.
- Apply sunblock cream or lotion at least 15 minutes before going outside. Use sunblock including SPF 20 or more. Use sunglasses and umbrella when going outside. If possible try to apply scrub 2/3 times in a week. This will remove dead cells from skin.
- Include trimming your hair from nose and ears in regular grooming routine.
- Try to wash your hair 2/3 days in a week with mild and herbal shampoo. Avoid the shampoo which contains harsh chemical ingredients such as alcohol. After shampooing use conditioner to maintain healthy and glowing hair. Avoid very hot and very cold water in washing, both are harmful for hair and scalp.
- Brush your teeth twice a day, at morning and before going bed. After brushing you must follow flossing and using mouthwash.
- Before going bed you should clean yourself, it's better to take hot water shower before sleeping. This will give you a fresh feeling and comfortable sleep.

First of all, we must know the cause of acne. Generally acne occurs when oil glands (sebaceous gland) which are attached to hair follicles are stimulated at time of puberty by increased level of specific hormones. Sebum (oil) is natural substance which is secreted from sebaceous gland, it helps to protect skin. Associated with elevated oil production is one kind of change in the manner in which skin cells mature so that cells are predisposed to clog the pores or openings of follicles. The clogged pore gradually enlarges and produce bump. When follicle enlarges, the wall rupture with irritating substances and bacteria (which normally situated on skin) access into the deeper portion of skin and causes inflammation. As a result pustule is produced and deeper inflammation results in pimple or papule. When the oil accumulates melanin, its named as blackhead and if oil breaks through to surface, it is named as whitehead.
Let's focus on the prevention of acne. Here's some tips for you, I think these are helpful for you.
- First thing you have to follow, that is- proper cleansing of your face. You have to wash your face to remove impurities, excess oil and dead cells. Use mild soap or cleanser and luke warm to wash face, try to wash your face 2 or 3 times a day. Please, avoid harsh chemical cleansers which will do harm if you have already inflamed skin.
- Always use oil free moisturizer. Before using moisturizer hydrate your skin. And one request to you, please, try to keep your hands away from your face without time of cleansing and moisturizing. You may ask the reason. Well, now focus on thinking that how many times you touch dirty things with your hands before touching your face. There's possibility to increase acne when oil and dirt on your hands transfer to your face. So, be careful.
- When acne occurs, try to avoid make up products such as foundation and blush. If you use make up products, then wash off carefully at the end of the day. And one thing, try to use organic and oil-free make up.
- Sometimes acne occurs due to having dandruff problems. Use medicated shampoo to keep clean scalp. Besides that, using harsh chemicals,oil or gel can drip on face and clog the pores and cause acne. You should be careful about using products on hair and scalp.
- Drink a lot of water, this will help you to wash off body toxins. Try to keep your bowel movement normal. Include a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables. Cut off oily spicy food and take fruit juice instead of soft drinks.
- Include exercise to your daily routine. Exercise helps you to avoid anxiety and maintain a good blood flow. Exercise is a good medicine for both mind & body and for skin too. Take a bath after exercise. This will help you to avoid bacterial attack due to sweating after exercise.
- Avoid excessive exposure to sun. Excessive exposure to sun can elevate skin inflammation, redness and blemishes. While working in the sun, put sunblock on your skin. Your sunblock must have SPF (sun protecting factor) 15 or above. Use sunblock before 15 minutes from going outside. Choose non-oily, alcohol free and organic sunblock.
- Keep yourself in jolly mood always. Good emotional state will give you a good health of skin. It is clinically proven truth.
