Banana Makes You obese ?

Each average banana contains about 100-150 calories which come from simple starch, about 3.5 grams of dietary fibers, 12-15% vitamin C, very less amount of protein (about 1 gram), 50-55 milligrams of   potassium and very less amount of cholesterol or fat. It's a good source of iron and vitamin B also.


 Now I'm focusing on the benefits of banana. 
  • Banana contains a lot of fiber which helps to overcome constipation.
  • Banana can be called as "Brain Food". Because, it provides sufficient amount of potassium to brain which keep oxygen level normal, and also helps to improve signals between cells.
  • In cases of anemia it works as a remedy. It's rich in iron which stimulates production of hemoglobin,
  • People who are suffering from heartburn, can have banana for its soothing effect, works as natural antacid.
  • Banana contains tryptophan which stimulates serotonin production, triggers on elevating mood. Also triggers on sleep hormone which induce good sleep
  • It has vitamin B, helps to calm nervous system.
  • The people who have high blood pressure, I think banana is very good choice to maintain blood pressure, because potassium & magnesium in banana helps to reduce high blood pressure
  • Water soluble fiber (pectin) in banana helps to decrease LDL cholesterol.
So, dear weight-conscious people, please don't cut off banana from your everyday diet, because if you take banana within your food and calorie requirements, then banana will not make you obese.
